    Nokia 7.2

The Nokia 7.2 offers three rear cameras and a premium new design, plus a high-quality display, and the promise of stock Android with regular updates. This phone feels very premium thanks to a metal frame and frosted glass rear. However, this phone is fairly bulky, and the circular camera module on the back sticks out a bit.

This phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which might feel underpowered for this price segment. Storage is constant at 64GB but you can choose between 6GB and 128GB of RAM. The 6.3-inch full-HD+ HDR10 display is a highlight, and HMD Global boasts of being able to upscale SD video to HD. There’s a 3500mAh battery and 10W fast charging. Performance is good enough for day-to-day tasks but some games struggled to run smoothly. Photos taken with the 48-megapixel camera were sharp and detailed, with slightly oversaturated colours. Low-light shots were underwhelming.

    Nokia 5.1 Plus

The Nokia 5.1 Plus features good internals. There’s a capable MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC, which is a step up from the Helio P18 in the Nokia 5.1, and posts better benchmark numbers compared to most Snapdragon 636-based phones at around this price point. At the time of this review, there is only one variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This phone also supports Category 4 LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and a wide variety of GPS systems including Beidou and Galileo. There’s FM radio and USB-OTG too, but no NFC

    Nokia 4.2

Nokia 4.2 – priced at Rs. 10,990 – enters one of the most hotly contested segments of the market, but fails to shine as a great budget phone. The phone has a premium design and an excellent build quality. The power button doubling as the notification light is a neat addition, and stock Android experience is certainly a welcome trait.

But the underpowered Snapdragon 439 processor is something that serves as a performance bottleneck.  The phone feels sluggish during day-to-day usage and struggles with heavy multitasking. Moreover, gaming performance is also something that will leave users wanting for more.

Camera performance is average at best, but issues with locking the focus and shutter lag prove to a major annoyance. Also, the 3,000mAh battery is barely enough to last a full day of regular usage, and to further aggravate the shortcoming, the charging speed is also quite slow.

    Nokia 3.1 Plus

The Nokia 3.1 Plus has a big screen and can run for up to two days on each charge without a very high-capacity battery. It looks good and will appeal to a lot of buyers based on the reputation of the Nokia name. However, manufacturer HMD Global has skimped on the processor, using the entry-level MediaTek Helio P22 which means that performance is way below the level that other phones at this price deliver. The cameras are disappointing too, and we got poor results in most of our test shots. On the plus side, the Android One UI is bloat-free and very fluid. Buy this phone only if you value the Nokia name and have very basic needs.
